Beautiful oil painting on canvas, set in a contemporary carved, ebonized and gilded wooden frame. The painting depicts a somewhat shady landscape, with trees and a thick lawn. In the foreground there is a small figure: a reclining woman resting, her red skirt enhances the painting, while just behind her, her horse grazes on the grass. This is a work characterized by a refined pictorial rendering and an eloquent chiaroscuro, capable of furnishing any environment with taste and a touch of antiquity. Italian manufacture, attributable to the Roman School, from the late 17th century.
