Brandi, whose daughter he married in 1681; he then settled in Tivoli. He was particularly active as a painter of animals, depicted in the foreground against a landscape background, with rich colors and intense light effects. His works are exhibited in numerous museums (Florence, Uffizi; Madrid, Prado; Kassel, Hessisches Landesmuseum; Dresden, Gemäldegalerie). Dimensions 121x90 cm frame 138x107 cm (price upon request)
