Description: The painting depicts a shepherdess with a face still displaying infantile features. She wears a sheepskin bodice, and a straw hat can be glimpsed behind her. Around the girl's head radiates a halo of sanctity, and above, two little angels hold a royal crown in flight. To her right leans the long pastoral staff; her left hand holds two small white roses, while her right affectionately caresses her child. Petals, which are pink in color, emerge from their mouths. In the foreground on the right, the shepherdess's foot is seen crushing the serpent's head. General Conditions: Good condition. Origin: Naples, second half of the 17th century.
