Sopra dei neutri piani sono appoggiate, con ricercata attenzione, una serie di frutti, funghi e ortaggi sorvegliati da due uccellini.

Nella prima composizione: vassoio di ceramica ripieno di pere, cesta di ciliegie, asparagi, carciofo, piselli, agrumi e un passerotto. In cornice coeva

Queste accattivanti composizioni erano frutto di fantasia, regolate però da un preciso rigore illustrativo.

I frutti e gli ortaggi erano ordinati in mucchietti o raccolti in piatti e piccoli cesti generando equilibrate composizioni dall’effetto gradevolissimo.

L’ottimo stato di conservazione e le cornici coeve rendono questa coppia di dipinti un ritrovamento particolarmente interessante per un collezionismo pienamente cosciente e maturo in grado di apprezzare il loro fascinoso arcaismo.

Pair of still lifes, artist active in the Cremona area, first half of the 17th century

Above the neutral surfaces, a series of fruits, mushrooms and vegetables are placed with refined attention, watched over by two little birds.

In the first composition: ceramic tray filled with pears, basket of cherries, asparagus, artichoke, peas, citrus fruits and a sparrow. In coeval frame

In the second: pomegranates, thistles, grapes, apples, citrus fruits, figs, mushrooms, a basket of chestnuts and a sparrow. In coeval frame

These captivating compositions were the result of imagination, regulated however by a precise illustrative rigour.

The fruits and vegetables were ordered in small piles or collected in plates and small baskets, generating balanced compositions with a very pleasant effect.

The excellent state of conservation and the coeval frames make this pair of paintings a particularly interesting find for a fully conscious and mature collector capable of appreciating their fascinating archaism.

Au-dessus des surfaces neutres, une série de fruits, champignons et légumes sont posés avec une attention raffinée, surveillés par deux petits oiseaux.

Ces compositions captivantes étaient le fruit d'une imagination, réglée cependant par une rigueur illustrative précise.

Les fruits et légumes étaient rangés en petits tas ou rassemblés dans des assiettes et des petits paniers, générant des compositions équilibrées d'un effet très agréable.

L'excellent état de conservation et les cadres contemporains font de cette paire de tableaux une trouvaille particulièrement intéressante pour un collectionneur conscient et mûr capable d'apprécier leur archaïsme fascinant.
