PAIR OF STILL LIFE PAINTINGS, LATE 17th CENTURY
Refined pair of oil paintings on canvas, set in contemporary carved and gilded wooden frames. The paintings depict two still lifes, set against a landscape background with architectures and ruins; in the foreground, flowers, fruits, vases of various kinds, furnishings and animals stand out. This is a pair of paintings that can be appreciated for their stylistic quality and realistic rendering, capable of furnishing any environment with elegance. Small restorations and a subsequent re-lining are noted. Made in the Marche region (central Italy), from the end of the 17th century.
