Brandi Domenico 1684-1736, Hunting dogs and deer
This splendid painting, depicting hunting dogs with deer, measures 96.5x133.5 cm. It was auctioned along with its pendant on April 19, 1996, by Christie's in London, attributed to the painter De Caro Baldassarre and his workshop. It was then attributed with certainty and included in the photographic archive by Federico ZERI (one of the greatest scholars of the 20th century) as the author: Brandi Domenico 1684-1736, placing it between 1710 and 1736. Painting in good condition with conservation restoration work, such as lining. The last photograph is the image of the pendant painting, not available.
