Pair of oil paintings on canvas depicting architectural capricci with ruins and figures.Works of excellent pictorial quality depict two landscapes animated by popular figures within Roman ruins.
The area is that of the painter Giovanni Domenico Gambone (1720 - 1793), active in Turin in the 18th century.
The dimensions are generous and are as follows: 103 x 84 including the frame, 93 x 74 the canvas alone.
Works relined within non-coeval gilded frames.
