18th century painting, oil on canvas, Venetian school, depicting 'portrait of a gentleman with a fur coat'. Setting by Rosalba Carriera In this portrait, the gentleman wears a light blue dressing gown, a very popular color in the eighteenth century, over a fancy silk coat and has a white handkerchief around his neck. The fluffy wig seems to have just been powdered, a sensation also made by a masterful use of the brush. The painting is in good condition. Canvas dimensions: Height: 57 cm Width: 43 cm
