Ancient large oil painting on wood depicting a canonical representation of the Crucifixion of Jesus. Painting with numerous characters, characterized by an intense drama. Bright colors and good use of shades. Presumably the work of an Italo-Flemish painter or with strong influences from Northern European and Flemish painting. Good conservation conditions, traces of time and natural lack of pigment in the central part (as shown in the photos). Table and back in very good condition. Inserted in a large antique frame in gilded and lacquered wood with a green marble effect. Italy, 18th century. Dimensions with frame: cm 93 x 110 h.
