Important oil on canvas painting depicting the Holy Family during the Flight into Egypt, interpreted here with touching humanity and a sense of movement. The Virgin Mary, wrapped in a large blue mantle and pink tunic, guides the scene with a gentle gesture, while Saint Joseph, in a mustard-colored robe and dark cloak, follows her with a walking stick and his gaze directed towards her. Between them is the young Jesus child, in a light robe with a red belt, walking barefoot, holding onto his mother in an affectionate and protective gesture. Above the scene, a beam of divine light descends from the sky, a symbol of heavenly protection, surrounded by a chorus of cherubs with expressive faces. The spiritual atmosphere is reinforced by the softness of the volumes, the elegance of the drapery, and the chromatic delicacy, particularly in the rosy and blue tones of Mary's robe.
