Extremely rare and unusual netsuke in wood, metal and glass with built-in compass within a square reserve with the astral symbols, sun, moon and stars at the corners. Carved wooden structure with the symbol of the chrysanthemum and the open fan in the circular shape of the rising sun. Original cord that comes out of the hole with a metal ring, quadrant with the cardinal points. Provenance: Japan Period: Edo XIX century. Dimensions: 1.4 × 4.7 × 4.7 cm.
