The body of the tureen and its lid are entirely hand-painted with a vibrant and intricate polychrome decoration.
The surface is divided into reserve panels, which house finely detailed genre scenes, depicting figures in traditional clothes and landscapes typical of the Far Eastern tradition.
These narrative compartments are framed by a dense weft of floral motifs, butterflies and exotic birds, which fill the background with a unique chromatic richness.
A distinctive and highly prized element are the handles and the knob of the lid, finished with golden highlights that enhance their shape and details. The elegance also extends to the flared foot, also decorated with floral and vegetal motifs that complete the harmony of the object.
