The elegant vase, made of white porcelain painted in shades of blue, was made in Japan between the late 18th century and the early 19th century.
The vase, with a circular base, slightly lopsided and with a trumpet-shaped neck, has a geometric decoration in the lower band that recalls phytomorphic elements. The remaining surface features refined female figures with traits, hairstyles, and clothing characteristic of Japan in an oriental garden rich in vegetation, plants, and flowers peculiar to the Japanese area.
Its asymmetrical and slightly deformed shape is due to an imperfection that occurred during the firing phase. The vase is in good condition.
Strikingly decorative object, it appears very current and modern, easily placed in any environment.
