Work of Northern European manufacture, probably German (Dresden area or similar), datable to the second half of the 19th century / early 20th century. A refined desk object, in which function is combined with historical decoration. Dimensions: Width: 24 cm Depth: 18 cm Height: 20 cm Condition: A hand of the female figure broken, to be restored. Missing some chess pieces (4 elements). Chips and small crack on the inkwell. Slight wear consistent with age. Overall, the porcelain is in healthy condition, without major fractures.
