Antique depth gauge in wood and wrought iron. Instrument formerly used for measuring the depth of canals and watercourses. Hand-painted graduated scale, maximum extension 3 meters. Hand-wrought iron hinge with snap lock. Hand painted slats in shades of sage green. In good condition, natural patina and traces of time (as shown in photos). Italy, 10s / 20s period. Min.
