Madonna and Child, plaster scagliola sculpture, author Alceo Dossena. Period: years of transition between the nineteenth and twentieth centuries. The sculpture comes from the workshop of Alceo Dossena in Parma, the city in which the sculptor settled in the first decade of the twentieth century from his native Cremona, where he had trained with a marble worker specializing in antiquarian copies.
