Siccardi Giuseppe (Bergamo 1883 - 1956) - Mother goat Plaster sculpture, signed and dated 1949 Measurements: height 37 cm Published in the catalog "Siccardi" - Corponove Editrice - 1996, pl. X Son-in-law of Loverini Ponziano, he was his pupil at the Carrara Academy of Bergamo and later studied at the Free School of the World in Rome. He was a sculptor and draftsman. He exhibited at the first and second Trade Unions Exhibition in Milan, at the International Sacred Art in Milan in 1921 and at the Permanente in 1931. He was inspired above all by the poetry of motherhood, with suggestive “sanguine” and white-blacks.
