Greece

The archaeology of ancient Greece presents objects such as PLASTIC VASE CONFIGURED DUCK Hellenistic period, 3rd-1st century BC. A plastic vase made of terracotta, pink-orange in colour, the vase realistically imitates a standing duck with its wings folded back and erect head, rounded body, trumpet-shaped foot; on the back is set a large hole for filling and on the breast a long, narrow, perforated spout. Decoration: imitation of the animal's plumage by means of incised dots and lines.
