The coupling (scene from life in a big city)
Mixed in pencil, charcoal, ink pen and ink watercolor, gouache color, oil pastels and white lead highlights on paper, size cm. 50 x 70, signed in the lower left and the date 1966. The original composition tells us about the time of coupling between the look of a real and experienced women available stationed at the bridge, and a man in the car, whose strong interest is all that way to watch clutching the steering wheel; the scene of life takes place in a big city, which looms with a bridge over the river and skyscrapers in the background. Alfredo D'angelo (Catania 1903 - Milan 1986) was brilliant artist and eclectic, unique figure painter who turned pro after a lifetime of work in the bank, much honored in his time and in the city of choice (Milan). The detail photo is the raw wood framing we propose.
