Beautiful oil painting on panel, set in a gilded frame with a wooden passe-partout. The work depicts a view of a street in Florence, with the dome of the Duomo of Santa Maria del Fiore in the background. Two figures, almost shadows, are also visible in the street, in an atmosphere that looks like a sunny day. There is a great play of light and shadow, with a realistic painting technique. In the lower right corner of the painting you can see the signature of the painter Basagni, a famous Florentine artist known for his depictions of the city of Florence. The painting dates back to the early 20th century.
