The antique still life painting with petunias and daisies proposed here is a beautiful oil painting on canvas from the early 1900s, Art Deco.
The antique painting is adorned with a carved and lacquered wooden frame, Montparnasse style, from the early twentieth century.
It is a composition with a beautiful bouquet with various flowers: pink and red petunias, white daisies, orange zinnias, and blue flowers similar to cornflowers. All are gathered in a decorative vase.

Maurice Alfred Decamps (1892-1953) was born in Paris and painted landscapes, but especially flowers.
His teacher was Pierre Montézin, and from 1913 he began exhibiting his works at the "Salon des artistes Français" in Paris.
He received many awards and mentions in his life. In 1926 he received the "Prix de la Savoie", then in 1927 the "Société des Paysagistes" award, in 1929 the "Raigecourt-Goyon" award, and finally in 1938 the "Justin Claverie" award.
The antique frame and oil painting have been carefully and professionally restored. 1930s.
