The painting on canvas is signed in the lower right by M. Ant. Queroy, a French painter of still lifes and landscapes.
Marie Antoinette Queroy (1881-1977) was born in Arras and was a student of Charles Eugène David and Gustave Fraipont.
She participated in the "Salon Des Artistes Français" and in 1900 at the "Exposition Universelle".
Today some of the painter's works are in the Arras museum.
The oil painting is presented with a beautiful gilded oval frame.
The painting and frame have been carefully and professionally restored.
