His first painting was purchased by the Municipality for the Galleria d'Arte Moderna in Milan. He participated in numerous national and foreign exhibitions with interior paintings of churches and views of Milan, especially of the Navigli, which he treated with preference. In 1950 a posthumous exhibition of this artist classified as a good impressionist from Lombardy was held at the Galleria Ronzini in Milan, sincere, fresh and effective.
