(QP383) The Ancient Landscape Paintings category, Art Deco, offers an oil painting on pressed cardboard from the early twentieth century. It is a landscape, a village with a church and bell tower. The painting is not signed but it is by Paulette Genet, French painter of landscapes and still lifes. Genet Paulette (1890-1983) was born in Strasbourg and was a Post-Impressionist painter. His teacher was Montézin. He begins to exhibit in Paris in the "Salon des Artistes Français" since 1931 and gets a mention of honor in 1939. He also participates in the "Salon des Artistes Indépendant". The oil painting has a Lacquer Wood Frame
