PAINTING ON A BOARD "CAPRICCIO WITH BRIDGE AND FIGURES"
Painting on panel "Capriccio with a bridge over a canal" by B. Rizzo. It is a fantastic performance set in Venice. The term Capriccio refers, in fact, to this kind of images invented and set in a really existing place. At the center of the panoramic painting is the bridge over the canal. The water weaves wearily on the masonry banks. Beyond the main bridge you can see another bridge in the distance and after this the sea. It is understood that we are at the edge of the city because to the left of the center rises the mast of a ship with a fluttering sail. On the left we can see, perhaps, an internal garden which can be accessed
