PAOLO SALA - (Milan 1859 - there 1924) - Piccadilly Circus Oil painting on tablet, signed lower left depicting the center of London, Piccadilly Circus. Dimensions: tablet 14 x 9.5cm Frame 38.5 x 34.5 cm He devoted himself to painting after studying architecture with C. Boito in Brera. He traveled to France, England, Argentina, Russia, where he decorated the hall of the Petersburg conservatory. He founded the Society of Lombard watercolors in Milan (1911).
