Charming oil painting on a wooden panel, set in a carved and painted wooden frame. The painting depicts a landscape view with sea and mountains, from which you can glimpse a marina with a city nearby, probably the marina of Pizzo Calabro, reminiscent of the painter's Calabrian origins. In the sea, several sailboats can be distinguished, including two in the foreground with figures intent on fishing. This is a painting of great taste, appreciable for its stylistic rendering and the choice of colors, capable of giving a touch of elegance and class to any environment. In the lower right is the signature of the Italian painter, Saverio Scutellà (1910-1993), with the date affixed to the back to be framed around the first half of the 20th century (approx. 1947). Measurements: Overall H x W x D 39 x 64 x 3.5cm; H x W of the artwork only 25 x 50cm
