Luigi Serralunga
Oil on canvas depicting a branch of roses in perfect condition, signed lower right "Serralunga". Born in Turin in 1880 and died in 1940, he proposes a poetic vision that embodies the dictates of the late symbolist tradition, contaminated by the suggestions coming from the great season of nineteenth-century figurative painting. The artist is particularly appreciated for still lifes, especially flowers inundated with colors.
