STILL LIFE PAINTING WITH OBJECTS, FIRST HALF OF THE 20TH CENTURY
Beautiful oil painting on canvas, framed in a carved and painted wooden frame with geometric decorative motifs. At the center of the painting is a still life with various objects, which from left to right are: a light blue glass flask, a red cloth, a helmet, a marble statue foot, a chainmail with two swords, a candle and shells. The contrast between the objects and their colors certainly makes this painting interesting and of great taste, as well as its pictorial quality. At the bottom is the signature of the artist, namely Osvaldo Tordi, a Florentine painter and pupil of Colacicchi, active between the first and second half of the 20th century. Since the date 1940 is also present, the painting is attributed to the first half of that period.
