Zeno is the pseudonym of Eugenio Bonivento (1880–1956), an Italian painter known above all for his views of the lagoon and the Venetian countryside. He studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Venice, where he was a student of Guglielmo Ciardi, and interpreted the painting of the Venetian masters of the 18th century with a modern style, characterized by a "full-bodied and dynamic" brushstroke and the use of light. His works are exhibited in galleries such as the Galleria d'arte moderna in Milan and the Galleria internazionale d'arte moderna in Venice.
