With his wife Afra Bianchin (1937-2011) he started one of the most successful and well-known professional studios; together they signed many innovative projects on the industrial design scene. Numerous publications have been dedicated to their work and various projects created by them are exhibited in major museums around the world Italian furniture giant Cassina, originally Amedeo Cassina, was founded by brothers Cesare (1909-1979) and Umberto (1910-1992) Cassina in 1927 in Meda, Italy. Although the factory initially specialized in the creation of custom-made wooden furniture and classy interiors, the two brothers decided in the 1950s to take another direction, anticipating the explosion in demand for mass-produced furniture. Cassina therefore has the undisputed merit of having introduced industrial design to Italy, collaborating with some of the most successful designers on a global scale. The work, like all our other objects, will be sold with a certificate of authenticity. We personally take care of and organize the packaging and shipping of our works of art, with insurance, all over the world
