Vaso centrale per l’inchiostro di forma ovale magistralmente decorato da quattro mascheroni con diverse fisionomie ed espressioni.

A sorreggere lo stesso, due sirene con code terminanti in forme fitomorfe, e il contenitore per la penna, anch’esso ornato con un impressivo mascherone e foglie d’acanto.

Di particolarissima fattura e di grande fascino questo raffinato calamaio è, a nostro avviso, inseribile nella produzione veneta del XVI° secolo

L’oggetto è provvisto del permesso di libera circolazione, rilasciato dal Ministero per i beni culturali, che ne certifica l’epoca e la dà al bene la possibilità di essere esportato.

Encrier en bronze coulé à la cire perdue, XVIe siècle

Vase central à encre de forme ovale magistralement décoré par quatre masques aux physionomies et expressions différentes.

Celle-ci est soutenue par deux sirènes dont la queue se termine par des formes phytomorphes, et le récipient pour le stylo, également décoré d'un impressionnant masque et de feuilles d'acanthe.

D'une facture très particulière et d'un grand charme, cet encrier raffiné peut, à notre avis, s'inscrire dans la production vénitienne du XVIe siècle

L'objet dispose d'un permis de libre circulation, délivré par le ministère du Patrimoine culturel, qui certifie son âge et donne à l'objet la possibilité d'être exporté.

Lost wax cast bronze inkwell, 16th century

Central oval-shaped vase for ink masterfully decorated by four masks with different physiognomies and expressions.

Supporting the same are two sirens with tails ending in phytomorphic shapes, and the container for the pen, also decorated with an impressive mask and acanthus leaves.

Of very particular workmanship and of great charm, this refined inkwell can, in our opinion, be included in the Venetian production of the 16th century
