Small oil painting on canvas,
Italian second half of the 1800s.
The scene represents an intent laundress
washing clothes near a pier,
in the shade of a large tree.
Lying on the catwalk to dry the clothes already washed.
Close, firmly planted on the bottom,
mooring poles used by boats.
In the background some houses with open balconies
The measures indicated are the maximum ones;
the measure of the canvas alone is 49.5 cm wide
and 15,5 cm high.
In good condition, it needs
of light cleaning and small adjustments on the frame
