Item description Painting, oil on panel, depicting animated landscape with lake. The author divides the space into two different portions. The first is a scene in the foreground and develops totally on the right of the table. It represents the arrival of a boat at a small pier adjacent to the ruins now almost completely occupied by thick vegetation. The second scene, occupies the left and represents the lake with boats in the distance and the coast. the two spaces contrast with colors and light. the forest, in fact, is characterized by dark tones in various shades of green, while the lake, the coast in the distance and the sky are represented with very clear pigments to emphasize
