Achille De Dominicis (Tivoli 1851 - 1917) Lazio landscapes with a couple of commoners Watercolors on paper, 38x25 cm Signed lower left, 'A. De Dominicis, R. 76) The two watercolors depict two paatorelli dressed in the costumes of the popular tradition of Lazio. The ordinary dress, on the other hand, consisted of tight-fitting knee-length trousers; a straight jacket in dark or green color with a double-breasted dark red or golden yellow doublet with golden or silver buttons arranged in a double row. Under the pants wore white thread socks and shoes made of raw leather. The white linen shirt had a turned-down collar. The dark truncated cone hat had more or less brims
