Oil painting on canvas depicting a high mountain landscape. The composition is dominated by the lake on the right bank of which stands a hut with two large trees and some figures. The high peaks form a natural curtain to the scene. Signed lower right (illegible signature) and dated 1880. The frame is ancient.
