Pair of walnut wood bookcases made in the Louis Philippe period in France. The upper part with glass doors is fitted with shelves, while the lower part is entirely made up of drawers. In the middle a very comfortable open floor. The sides of the bookcases are mirrored, that is, one is finished with carvings and an upper frame while the other was originally leaning against a wall, therefore raw and without a cornice. Bunches of grapes and acorns are carved on the uprights. Pair of very rare furniture of undisputed value, also ideal as exhibitors in some renowned wine cellar. The elegant openwork decoration at the top of the doors is different from one piece of furniture to the other. They still retain some of their original blown glass. The measures indicated refer to each of them, so the total length if placed side by side becomes 10.50 meters. On request we can provide a quote for restoration and assembly.
