Superb and scenographic, Louis XV chest of drawers inlaid, two half drawers, in solid walnut and inlays of various woods (cherry, maple, walnut feather) dating back to the mid-18th century. Incredible furniture for shape and size, enriched by paneled sides in relief, “owl's beak” plan, slab of head, moved, “cabriole” feet ending on hoof hoof, indicative of period and provenance. Hardware present and working. Interiors and linings in poplar and fir. No restoration recommended. Viewing and possible collection on site is welcome.
