Imposing and important Louis XVI-Directory Transition Chest of Drawers, in solid walnut, built in the Padano area, between the end of the 18th and the beginning of the 19th century. Full-bodied piece of furniture, intact, perfectly in patina, a shining example of the rigor of his style. 2 gouged drawers, paneled sides, owl beak top and shaped aprons, back nail applied to the Neoclassical style posts. Particularly the turned and choked foot, indicative of style and origin. Spruce interiors and linings. Hardware present coeval and functioning (one lock is missing). A conservative restoration was carried out, which excludes any invasive intervention. Mobile to use
