The consoles have a top in marble of great value, dating back to the seventeenth century, in black marble from Aquitaine (from the French historical region of the same name), or “black and white of France”. The consoles have on the front a large drawer decorated with sockets and applications in gilded and finely chiseled bronze. On the side there are depicted lyres with ribbons and scrolls, while in the center two griffins with spirals and elements
