Trumeau Ribalta with raised Louis XVI Emilian inlaid
Museum and scenographic, Louis XVI trumeau inlaid, in solid walnut and inlays of various woods (maple, cherry, plum, etc.), built in the Parma area (on the border with Tuscany), at the end of the 18th century. Incredible piece of furniture for shape and size, enriched by inlays with rhomboid geometric motifs, in cherry, threaded in maple, which enclose the classic "Dove of Peace" on the sides, All obtained, with knife processing, on solid wood called "a dark". The construction, with ashlar panels, further enriches this precious piece of furniture. The flap opens onto the cabinet, where there are four small drawers. The riser is made up of a pair of doors, also in rebate, of eighteenth-century taste. Choked spool feet, indicative of period and provenance. Hardware present, contemporary and functional.
