Pair of splendid Roman candelabra in gilded bronze with mercury of very refined manufacture. The particularly elaborate workmanship is distinguished by both the richness of the decorations and the perfect execution. Furthermore, the Louis XV style is taken up in all its peculiarities with a remarkable stylistic knowledge. Finally, the perfect proportions are striking, very slender, which make the artifacts extremely elegant. They are in excellent condition. Provenance Rome, Papal State.
