Exceptional Persian (or Iranian) ISFAHAN carpet with pure silk warp, to allow a dense knotting in extra wool called Cork, collected from the softer fleece of the sheep, dyed in an incredible bright blue. Exemplary of an old manufacture dating back to the Shah Pahlavi era (1960/70) never used, from a private collection. The drawings refer to the ancient patterns drawn by the best "ustad" masters of the royal laboratories. cm. 155x102. nr. inventory 186
