Rare Shahsavan kilim from my private collection: polychrome stripes with small embroideries of flowers and garlands - It was probably the front side of a bag; the rear one, worn, has been eliminated. This specimen shows how carefully a girl prepared the various pieces of her trousseau, with imagination and extreme attention to detail. I recommend placing it on a chest, or on the back of an armchair, or hung on the wall, or on a simple stool. measure cm. 90 x 72.
