Pendulum clock with alabaster base and metal alloy statue. Made in the 19th century in Italy and recently overhauled, therefore working. The lion's feet support an alabaster base, surmounted by an image of a man, probably absorbed in the act of writing a poem. In fact, at its side, above the clock face, we find the papyrus and the lyre. The base has undergone a restoration as evident from the photos
