Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Artwork oil on canvas depicting a religious subject, Lot receives the two angels, of good pictorial quality. According to the biblical narrative, Lot gave shelter to two male-looking angels. Angels thwarted the crowds of Sodom to give Lot's family time to leave the city. Painting of great size and impact adorned with a non-coeval carved and gilded wooden frame (non-original gilding, revived in the 20th century). Painting of interesting perspective with central farmhouse placed behind the main scene and characters in the background on the right (see photo). Ideal painting to be placed in a living room, lounge or study, of beautiful decoration. Artwork that has undergone a conservative restoration, relining, replacement of the stretcher and color recovery in some places (see photo). In good condition. Sight size H 96 x W 122 cm.
