Antique Italian painting from the 17th century. Framework oil on canvas of the Neapolitan school depicting a typical subject of the representations of the famous dynasty of Recco painters, fabulous still life with fish and fisherman's tools of excellent pictorial quality. Modern frame in wood and plaster pleasantly carved and gilded (see photo). Painting that develops horizontally, characterized by an excellent use of light and reflections on the scales (see photo), the wriggling twist of the fish that creates great dynamism (see photo). Painting of excellent proportion, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of genre painting of the seventeenth century.
