Description: Antique oil painting on canvas depicting Madonna and Child with gilded and carved wooden frame. Mary is represented according to classical iconography, holding Jesus in her arms. Jesus and the Madonna both in the foreground, hold a bouquet of flowers in their hands, while the open window behind the figures gives depth to the whole composition. The splendid workmanship and the refined colors, evidently of the highest level, suggest in fact the attribution to a highly talented author working in Lombardy in the second half of the 18th century.
