Ancient Italian painting from the first half of the 18th century. Oil on canvas framework depicting a religious subject Saint Francis of good pictorial quality. Wooden frame not coeval, from the 20th century, carved and gilded with signs of aging and drops of color (see picture). Painting of great measure and impact, for antique dealers, interior decorators and collectors of ancient sacred art. Framework that has undergone (in the second half of the 20th century) a conservative restoration, relining and replacement of the frame (see picture).
