Oil painting on canvas. Neapolitan school. The large scene is placed at the entrance of a temple, whose tall Corinthian columns create a sort of frame on the sides: in the middle of them an Angel hovers at the top, below the central figure of Jesus surrounded by the sick he heals. The pictorial style, in particular in the organization of the complex choreographies, lively and with bright colors, and in the perspective characteristics rendered through the wide prominence of the architectural elements, have made this painting attributed to Domenico Gargiulo, known as Micco Spadaro (1609 / 10- c.1675).
